Welcome to the first Beads and More Blog Post

Beads and More started life in 2008 and it’s difficult to believe that this is our 9th year in business.  It began with just a small stock, testing the market at local craft shows and then venturing into the wider on-line market place. During those 8 years our stock has increased and we have some loyal customers who have been with us over these years. We still attend local Craft Shows and now have a regular Pop Up Shop with a Beading Club here in Bath.

Moving Forward

The new mobile friendly website has been up and running for three months now, and we hope you like our new style and are finding it easier to negotiate the products, it’s certainly easier to update and manage.  When ordering for the first time on the new site you do have to set up an account though you may have ordered in the past. There were so many customers on the old site it was not practical to move them all over – a lot of the information was out of date due to changes of address and emails.

Now it’s time for more social interaction with you – our customers.  Over the next few months we will be more active with blogs and on Social Media to keep you up to date with our activities. Unfortunately there are no 7 year olds in our family to help with this so be patient with us as progress may be a bit slow.   We will include some photo’s of completed projects to offer inspiration for designs using our beads, you can see the first below. We would also love to see your projects – do send your pictures to barbara@beadsandmore.co.uk.

This necklace uses Grey Shell Flowers mixed with Turquoise Drops and Barrels, interspersed with Grey Freshwater Pearls and Sparkling Rondelles.  Create you own version from our many different Flower beads.

Winter Sale

Well it would not be January without a Sale.  We are giving you the opportunity to stock up on the metal beads in our collection.  Many of the pack sizes have been increased but prices reduced.  This is a rolling sale so items will only be on sale for a short period with more products being added throughout January and February . Order quickly to be sure of getting the sale price.

Remember free postage on orders of £15 and over in the UK.   Whilst our overseas customers are getting a great deal at the moment with the low exchange rate on the £.
